Tuesday August 23rd Class

This class seems very vibrant. The mix of people in this class gives off a good vibe. Getting into groups and introducing ourselves is a great way to meet and understand our fellow classmates. The class started out pretty nice and interesting. The Grand Rapids lip dub video was an unique start to the class. It was interesting to see how well people can come together to make a video about their city with choreography. The other videos we watched, for example, the Brat Pack video had different interpretations depending on the region it was filmed in. Everyone has different interpretations and expressions of that song. It is good to have a variety of meanings since everyone has their own meaning of things and it would be boring for everyone to think and feel the same way as everyone else. I look forward to the field trips that were mentioned especially the one in Venice Beach because it seems like a very interesting experience. Glenn is speaks his mind and has a true passion for arts and anything related to it. I like how he says to make anything your own since the only way to spread a certain message is to speak your mind. I look forward to this class being fun and educational. :)
